Dear son, I write you a few lines this evening which will inform you that we are all well at this time and hoping that these few lines may reach you safe and find you well and doing well. I have nothing new or interesting to write you at this time. Mr. Hendrix, Brother to our neighbor Hendrix, is coming to Pensacola tomorrow and I send this letter and your clothing by him to you so I would be glad if you would write back by him to me and let me know how you are coming on by this time and what the news is with you at this time. Nothing more at present only remaining Yours Until Death
